Me at the Scottsdale Society of Women Writers meeting

writing event community

Scottsdale Society of Women Writers

Yesterday, I was welcomed at the Scottsdale Society of Women Writers!

It was such a fun experience. I was the featured guest author speaker of the month. When I got there, I spoke to multiple authors, and they were commending me on publishing a novel at such a young age.

Everyone had dinner (which was delicious by the way!) I ate two powdered-sugar cookies as my dessert :D After dinner, each author went around the table introducing themselves and telling everyone the books they’ve written.

After that was finished, it was my turn! (By that, I mean I had to do my PowerPoint presentation/speech!) My presentation was about my writing journey in writing Escape Gravestone Caverns, and it went super well! The audience even laughed at my jokes :p After my presentation, I answered many questions from the audience.

If you’d like to see my whole presentation, you can watch it on my YouTube channel!

Then, I sold and signed books! There were three girls who were around my age that I got to meet. They said they were really looking forward to reading Escape Gravestone Caverns! I had so much fun, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

A special thanks to Tracy and Darlene who made me feel very welcome at the SSWW meeting! Thank you both so much for being so kind!

Also, special thanks to Carol, who found out about me (around March 2026) and recommended me to be featured in one of the meetings.

And finally, a big thank you to Patricia L. Brooks, President and Founder of the Scottsdale Society of Women Writers, for this amazing opportunity! You can read her announcement of my session on the Brooks Goldmann Publishing blog.
